The gravel roads of northwestern Erath County are picturesque, quiet, and a perfect place for any gravel adventure.  Most routes start and finish at the iconic Lingleville Country Store owned by Lance and Chelsea Battenfield.  The Battenfields have been big supporters of cyclists, and you'll find one of the best-kept secrets in the entire state at their store.

For maximum gravel enjoyment, start your journey at the Lingleville Country Store where you can be on gravel roads almost immediately.  Virtually all of the county roads in this part of Erath County are unpaved which means traffic volume is likely outweighed by wildlife on almost any given day.  This collection of routes includes distances from around 15 miles all the way up to a metric century with plenty of opportunity to explore more unpaved roads and create your own ultra-endurance adventure if you choose.
